Michael is a seasoned healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) leader with over 25 years of experience transforming medical facility business offices through advanced automation, performance measurement, and staffing best practices. As the founder of Acuet RCM, Michael delivers a unique service model that consistently enhances financial outcomes while improving efficiency and operational control.
He is a recognized thought leader in the RCM space, with numerous published articles on RCM best practices and frequent speaking engagements at national and state-level healthcare conferences, where he shares actionable insights on revenue cycle optimization, automation, and strategic operations.
Previously, Michael founded Regent RCM, an independent division of Regent Surgical, where he drove innovative revenue cycle solutions for ambulatory surgical centers. Before that, he served as Revenue Cycle Administrator for the Chicago Institute of Neurosurgery and Neuroresearch, where he led efforts to optimize financial operations.
Michael holds a Master of Science in Health Systems Management from Rush University Medical Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from Augustana College. Based in Chicago, he remains committed to advancing healthcare financial performance through strategic innovation and leadership.
